TUR 2011
TUR is Scandinavia’s leading fair for the travel, tourism and meeting industries. The annual TUR fairs run for four days at the end ofMarch (week 12) at the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre in Göteborg. Thursday and Friday are devoted to trade visitors, Saturday and Sunday are opened to the general public.
At TUR 2010, 49,500 visits were registered: 19,000 on the trade-only days Wednesday-Friday, and over 30,500 on Saturday and Sunday, the two days open to the public. More than 1,700 companies and organisations from 112 countries and regions exhibited at last year fair, underlines TUR’s leading position.
Purpose of TUR
TUR provides an international meeting place for exhibitors, from all over the world, and visitors, mainly from the Nordic countries. TUR also provides a meeting place for exhibitors to meet trade visitors and the general public. Furthermore, TUR covers travel, tourism, meetings and any other sectors in the industry.
